Effects of Covid on small business
This video was made at home without proper equipment and with no help from others. Covid was at its peak and I thought why not let's go outside with proper safety and understand what is going on with these food vendors and how they are leaving without any income source? I was amazed when I got to know that these people died or had jobs to support their families.
They didn't get any support from the government, this whole feature story was my idea I recorded this story from my phone as I didn't have a DSLR camera or right equipment and I couldn't borrow it from anyone at that point in time because of the risk of Covid 19. For pre-production work I collected information from news and online articles and prepared a questionnaire.
I reached out to multiple vendors to record their stories. I believe all the efforts were paid well because the next year when my college was opened I got an award for the BEST FEATURE STORY in my college. This story gave me confidence that you can direct, shoot, and convince people independently.
